RV Park Rules at Matagorda Harbor
1. Monthly rate of $175.00 + electricity is only for customers who rent a boat slip. Customers may rent one RV space per boat slip rented. Upon giving up the boat slip, customer must also move RV. The RV space and boat slip cannot be billed separately. All other RV customers fall under the day rate.
2. Boats and/or boat trailers may not be dry stored next to RVs. If customers need to temporarily dry store their boat, it should be left in the trailer parking area at the back of the marina. Further, customers may not dry store any boat other than the one they are paying slip rental for.
3. Pets must be on a leash. Customers will not tie up pets outside and leave them unattended. Owners must clean up after their pets. Loud or bothersome pets will not be tolerated. Any animal that has been deemed dangerous by city, county, or state officials is strictly prohibited at the harbor.
4. Small storage sheds and/or storage trailers are permitted as long as they are placed in line with the RV, do not obstruct the marked traffic lanes, and are approved by Harbor Management. Sheds must be freestanding and may not be permanently affixed to the asphalt. Harbor management reserves the right to require them to be removed/relocated at the discretion of Harbor management.
5. Freestanding porches and decks may be constructed adjacent to RVs but must not exceed 8-ft.x16-ft. Such structures must be removed when RV is removed or the customer will be assessed a removal fee by the port authority. Harbor management reserves the right to approve such structures.
6. Customers will not park more than two vehicles next to RVs. Additional parking is available adjacent to the boathouses and parallel parking is permitted along the levee.
7. Customers will respect their neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their RV space. Loud music and excessive noise is not permitted after 10 p.m.
8. RV spaces should be kept clear of trash and debris. Customers will dispose of their trash in the dumpsters at the back of the marina.
9. All tenants will obey all other rules and regulations that may be established from time to time by Harbor management or Port of Bay City Authority.
10. Any violation of the above rules and regulations and/or violations of the State of Texas Penal Laws or ordinances passed by the Port of Bay City Authority of Matagorda County, Texas may subject tenant to lease termination and/or eviction at the discretion of Harbor management.
11. Harbor Management shall have the discretion in its judgment to prohibit any RVs, small storage sheds, and/or storage trailers that do not appear to be well-constructed and/or well-maintained.
